When I think about MY RETURN, I understand that it is truly my perfect trifecta. It is a combination of my passion to inspire women to follow their dreams, my passion for creativity, and my passion for quotes and their incredible power.

My First Passion -

I was born in Slovakia, and I graduated from Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Comenius University, in Bratislava. I have a Master’s Degree in Science of Education. It was fitness that first brought me to the United States in 1993, and for fifteen years I was a personal trainer. I truly enjoyed helping my clients to keep their bodies healthy and in shape. Through watching some clients struggle, I realized very early on that having a healthy body is not about counting sets or reps or dieting. To keep a body healthy is a life-long commitment, and therefore, the first step is to begin with a healthy heart and a healthy mind.  And that is where I discovered my love and passion for helping people on a larger scale—to get their minds and hearts “in shape” first. I love “holding up a mirror” to show you how I see you—the most amazing and deeply loved human being. With the foundation of a happy mind and heart, you will see yourself as I do, and you will never disrespect your body.

My Second Passion -

Ever since my children started kindergarten, I have been volunteering and helping at schools on an everyday basis. Because of my self-developed creative skills, my most significant contribution has been creating big school projects and decorating the school with posters and murals for events. Also, for twenty years, I have been creating from scratch our well-known handmade Christmas cards. It has been a very natural progression; for me, creating the quotes, posts, and designs for MY Return is the best therapy and meditation.

My Third Passion -

Growing up in communist Slovakia, I developed into a strong and arrogant non-believer. I thought that, since I was smart enough to figure everything out for myself, I didn’t need God. Only “less smart” people needed God. Yes, that was me—until one day I came to the U.S. not knowing where I was going to sleep that night. I had no money, didn’t speak English, and didn’t know anyone. I quickly learned that my “smartness” wasn’t smart enough.  In true desperation and fear, I realized that the only “person” I knew in the U.S. was God. I dropped to my knees and prayed. I didn’t know how to pray, so I just sobbed—and He listened. He helped that “smart” and arrogant girl. And because of Him, I was able to stay in the U.S. A few months later, the book “A Return to Love” by Marianne Williamson landed in my hands. (Can you see the connection with “MY Return”?) Back in Slovakia, I wouldn’t have ever picked up a book with the name “God” in it. This was the very first book I ever read in English, and the very first book I ever read about God. I devoured this book. I soaked it up like a sponge. I cried, and I didn’t understand why I was crying. (I am hardly a crier; I never cry at heart-wrenching commercials, and I don’t watch “chick flick” movies.) But with that book, for the first time, I understood and felt the incredible power of words. Ever since, I have saved every quote that has spoken to me from every powerful book I’ve read. It is my deepest desire that My Return, with its meaningful quotes, will inspire you and encourage you to rise to your fullest potential.

And finally, here’s why and how I blended my passions together to create my business. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a financially independent person (I think it’s because of having lived in a communist country). I had a constant nagging feeling that I should start my own business—there was no bigger dream for me than to be an Entrepreneur. However, I didn’t want to start just any business; it would have to be a business that was hand-in-hand with the Higher Power—I wouldn’t be doing it on my own. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but I didn’t have a clear picture…until Christmas 2019, when I thought my world was ending. While I was looking for answers and help, the idea of my business became more and more clear. Having been on my knees, I understand how it feels when you think the world is ending: when you negotiate with God to take you with Him, when you want your own voice back, when you desperately need a reminder of how amazing you are.  Everything that has happened in my life has had a purpose, and the creation of MY Return is no different. It has opened a new door for me with the most incredible opportunities, knowledge, new amazing people, and, most of all, finding my true self by helping others. I wanted to create a business that inspires you to rediscover your passions and find the confidence to become the CEO of your own life. And that is how MY RETURN, my perfect trifecta, came to be.
